We built the foundation, the frame is up and the walls now have insulation, and maybe some drywall. I truly don’t know how to build a house outside of what I’ve seen on HGTV shows, but I know how to build a blog.
Welcome to the NEW A Red Arrow!
This little redesign has actually been in the works since the blog was first published, when I commissioned Liam Ashurst - an artist I’ve been a fan of for a long time - to create a logo that speaks to everything I want in the blog. That new logo is ready and what you see at the top of the page!
As well as the new logo, I've completely redesigned the blog. The forum is gone, for now, as it appeared no one used it and was probably confusing for a lot of people -- whoops. I've also made everything a little more condensed so it's easier to find things, rather than having to scroll constantly. There is also now an About Me page and a contact page so you know just how to get in touch with me through the blog, and a page that includes our Bookshop link and how you can continue to support the blog -- future affiliate links will go there as they happen!
In addition to the new design and the new logo, I’ve launched new social media pages to go along with our Twitter account. There is now a dedicated Red Arrow Instagram page and Facebook page, so you can follow along even if you’re not much of a Twitter person. Instagram will probably take some getting used to on my part because I don’t even use my personal one much outside of posting on stories, and I want to make sure I’m doing it in a way that helps the blog, rather than hurts it.
Which brings me to my next point… we’re doing a giveaway!
Earlier this summer my sister also started out on her own creative endeavor, making resin keepsakes and housewares at Keebs Keepsakes. She has always had the eye for color and design that I wish I had, I am constantly going to her asking for outfit advice or to organize my gallery wall, and I am so happy and proud of her for doing her own creative thing. So we teamed up!
Haley created a beautiful catch-all tray and coaster set in red, white, and gold to celebrate Liverpool FC’s Premier League title and I’m giving away a brand new Women’s Stadium version of the LFC 20/21 Home kit with Henderson on the back, gold Premier League Champions badges, and the FIFA Club World Cup Champions badge on the front. They’re all LOVELY. The shirt is a size medium so even if it doesn’t fit, it’ll make a great gift for a fan or a cool framed piece as well.

I have been so secretly excited about this whole thing and I am so happy that it’s all coming out. Thank you so much for following me, and supporting me through this. It means everything and I do not say that lightly - despite my habit for hyperbole. Starting a blog in this climate (in this economy?!) is a challenge, and though it has been a steep learning curve I’ve put myself on, I finally feel like I’m doing something right with my life.
